Saturday, August 13 - August 14, 2011

Last week was interesting reflecting on it now. I saw my breaking point and I am over it. Come what may no? I got to hang out with my BEST FRIEND for the day. We went to this awesome pizza place called 'Artichoke' in the East Village. I had artichoke and spinach pizza. WHICH WAS DELICIOUS! I never thought I would be a fan of artichoke but now I am.
We went to this local flea market, but it wasn't like those flea markets where everyone sells the same thing. Instead it was people's junk. I got this cool bracelet. Which was complimented/admired at double RL by all these sick dressed shopkeepers. So we ended up in some weird area with all these cool men's stores. We hit up the Strand and I bought a couple of books. I am hooked on Ray Bradbury. I just finished his "The Illustrated Man" which is a collection of stories told through one overarching story. I bought Bradybury's "Farewell Summer" and Roberto Bolano's "The Savage Detectives".
Then Sunday was a lazzzyyyyy sunday. It was down-pouring so I stayed in and did work a.k.a sleep, watch tv shows, finish reading my book, and sleeping some more....
