(I need to start posting pictures... I'm too lazy to carry around my camera since it's big....Nikon D80...) Monday was my new start at a fancy building right around the corner from the old internship. No joke, it is literally right around the corner. But my building has TONS of other brands; Tommy Hilfiger, Ports, Derek Lam, and Raoul. That's just on my floor too. There was a model casting call today and all these models were roaming around. Making me feel ugly. ahhahahaahha. But it was a great week. There is more duties here than at the previous place. I may be an intern but I do bring in results and whatnot. I think the other place just didn't realize the potential/abilities I or other interns have. Then again I don't really count as a ditzy 19/20 y.o. that "loves" fashion. I'm the college grad who knows how to research and write papers that just moved onto another path. Which I feel I had/have to do. It just feels right. So far, I'm glad that I did. I actually had another interview on Thursday for a fashion house that I have a feeling is going to be BIG. But I don't find out if I got the internship until next friday... The interview went super well and the person was like I'll be sure to let you know Friday. Apparently if this PR firm picks this studio up then they will have staff supplied. But if not then they'll be needing people. SOOOO...
Anyways it's the weekend and time for me to roam NYC with my partner in crime, Z.
